On the occasion of the release of the new CD Lucretia: portraits de femme, on Monday 25 November 2024 at 20:30 in the Salle Cortot in Paris, Les Paladins will perform Morte di Lucretia by Michel Pignolet de Montéclair, sung by soprano Sandrine Piau, and Lucrezia by Benedetto Giacomo Marcello, sung by Lucile Richardot under the baton of Jérôme Correas.
The CD features compositions by Scarlatti, Haendel, Pignolet de Monteclair and Marcello, all dedicated to heroine Lucrezia.
Carlo Vistoli will sing works by F. Cavalli, A. Cesti, C. Monteverdi, G. Frescobaldi, D. Castello, and A. Stradella in a recital entitled “Amor Tiranno” with Ensemble Sezione Aurea at the Teatro Ponchielli in Cremona on June 21 at 9:30 PM.
Andrea De Carlo with Ensemble Mare Nostrum conducts scores by Alessandro Stradella and Claudio Monteverdi in a concert entitled “La Dea delle Scene” at the Museo del Violino in Cremona as part of the Monteverdi Festival on June 20 at 6:00 PM.Soloist: Silvia Frigato.
