ABOUT US

Studio Cogliolo was founded in the late 1970s on the initiative of Ornella Cogliolo to promote contemporary classical music. The Studio has collaborated with composers such as Sylvano Bussotti, Paolo Renosto, Marcello Panni  and Giacinto Scelsi, and then represented young musicians, chamber music groups, soloists and conductors, including Dorothy Dorrow, Marjorie Wright, Alexis Weissenberg and Giuseppe Sinopoli.

A significant experience was the organization in Italy of tours of orchestras such as Philharmonia Orchestra with Giuseppe Sinopoli, Academy of St Martin in the Fields with Sir Neville Marriner  and Murray Perahia, Ensemble InterContemporain with Pierre Boulez and David Robertson, and later Chicago Symphony Orchestra with Riccardo Muti.

After Andrea Penna joined Studio Cogliolo in 2002, it expanded its activities in the vocal field, promoting the most promising young international singers.

Ornella Cogliolo is a member of the Association Européenne des Agents Artistiques and the Italian Association of Representatives of Classical Musicians A.R.I.A.C.S.
