MDI ENSEMBLE in Madrid in May

On Monday, 5 May 2025, at 7:30 p.m., at the Auditorio 400 of the Museo Nacional de Arte Reina Sofía, mdi ensemble is performing a concert organised by Centro Nacional de Difusión Musical in collaboration with Istituto Italiano di Cultura in Madrid. On the programme:

Silvia Borzelli	Hyper-image for piano and 5 instruments
Aureliano Cattaneo	NOVITA’ for ensemble (world premiere – commission by CNDM 2025)
Alberto Posadas	Tránsito I for soprano and viola
	La tentación de las sombras for soprano and string quartet
	Tránsito II for soprano and clarinet

CARLO VISTOLI with ENSEMBLE SEZIONE AUREA in CREMONA in JUNE

Carlo Vistoli will sing works by F. Cavalli, A. Cesti, C. Monteverdi, G. Frescobaldi, D. Castello, and A. Stradella in a recital entitled “Amor Tiranno” with Ensemble Sezione Aurea at the Teatro Ponchielli in Cremona on June 21 at 9:30 PM.

ANDREA DE CARLO with ENSEMBLE MARE NOSTRUM and SILVIA FRIGATO in CREMONA in JUNE

Andrea De Carlo with Ensemble Mare Nostrum conducts scores by Alessandro Stradella and Claudio Monteverdi in a concert entitled “La Dea delle Scene” at the Museo del Violino in Cremona as part of the Monteverdi Festival on June 20 at 6:00 PM.Soloist: Silvia Frigato.

LUCA TITTOTO in LONDON in JUNE

Luca Tittoto comes back to London to sing the role of Ariodante in Händel’s opera Serse with the Academy of Ancient Music. Barbican Hall, 19 June at 7:00 p.m. Conductor: Laurence Cummings.
