Mezzo-soprano Danbi Lee will be the solo voice in Rhapsody for contralto, Op. 53 by Johannes Brahms scheduled for 23 and 24 February 2024 at Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, conducted by Min Chung.
On Thursday 22 February 2024, at 7.30 p.m., the Musiksalon of the Nationaltheater in Mannheim will host the presentation of Piccolo concertos, the latest CD recorded for Naxos Records by Maestro Salvatore Percacciolo and octavinist Francesco Viola with the orchestra of the Nationaltheater in Mannheim.
Four composers are featured on the CD: the Romanian Andreas Baksa (1950-2015), the Slovenian Uroš Krek (1922-2008), the German-Croatian Boris Papandopulo (1906-1991) and the Hungarian Frigyes Hidas (1928-2007).
