On Wednesday, 16th April, at 8.30 p.m. at Teatro Nuovo Giovanni da Udine, soprano Alice Rossi will star in the ‘Berio 100’ concert for the 100th anniversary of the birth of Luciano Berio. She will sing Berio’s Sequenza III for Voice along with Aria by John Cage and Così parlò Baldassarre by Niccolò Castiglioni.
On Thursday 17 April at 6 p.m., VenEthos Ensemble quartet will play in the National Museum of Musical Instruments in Roma as a guest of the Resonare Fibris 2025 Festival. On the programme will be compositions by Albinoni, Galuppi, Mozart and Boccherini.
Friday 18th April at 20:00 and Saturday 19th at 17:00, contralto Danbi Lee will sing Mahler’s Symphony No. 2 at Teatro La Fenice conducted by Myung-Whun Chung.
On Friday 18 April at 8 p.m. and on Saturday 19 at 5 p.m., Myung-Whun Chung is conducting Gustav Mahler’s Symphony No. 2 with the Orchestra of Teatro La Fenice, soloists Louise Alder and Danbi Lee.
