Countertenor Nicolò Balducci is singing Claudio Monteverdi’s Vespro della Beata Vergine, Wednesday 29 May at 9 p.m. in the Church of San Marcellino in Cremona, with Accademia Bizantina, Ghislieri Choir and Ottavio Dantone First appointment at the Festival Monteverdi for Nicolò Balducci who will return on 15 June with a special concert dedicated to countertenor Filippo Finazzi, virtuoso and composer.
Carlo Vistoli will sing works by F. Cavalli, A. Cesti, C. Monteverdi, G. Frescobaldi, D. Castello, and A. Stradella in a recital entitled “Amor Tiranno” with Ensemble Sezione Aurea at the Teatro Ponchielli in Cremona on June 21 at 9:30 PM.
