DEDALO ENSEMBLE (conductor Vittorio Parisi)

ENSEMBLES

Dèdalo Ensemble uses a number of different chamber formations in search of differentiated tonal blends which are sometimes extraneous to the most conventional repertoires. A strong affinity and shared goals have brought together musicians who have acquired extensive experience, both as soloists and members of chamber groups and symphony orchestras.

A recent important success was the concert held for the Teatro Grande in Brescia (Capital of Culture in  2023).

Dèdalo Ensemble has been invited to perform at major concert events:

– Sémaine Europeènne des Musiques d’aujourd’hui, Paris

– Omaggio a C. Togni, Ridotto del Teatro Grande, Brescia

– Società dei Concerti di Brescia,

– Schreyahaner Herbst, Uelzen, November

– Fondazione Cini – Teatro La Fenice, Venezia

– Rive-gauche, Torino

– Milano Musica, L’emozione del nuovo,

– Musica Contemporanea in Irpinia,

– Padiglione d’Arte Contemporanea,

– Festival Pianistico Internazionale Michelangeli di Brescia e Bergamo,

– IUC-Università La Sapienza di Roma,

– Florida University, Miami Iscm Festival,

– Tirana Spheres and Hemispheres Festival,

– Sevilla VI Ciclo de Música Contemporánea, Teatro del Duque,

– Armonie d’autore, Milano Teatro Dal Verme.

The group’s repertoire includes the most important Italian and international contemporary composers. Their pronounced interest in 20th century music and in-depth analysis of new instrumental techniques has led to rewarding collaborations between Dèdalo Ensemble and a number of specialised structures such as  Union Nationale des Compositeurs and the Société Française de Musique contemporaine, Fondazione Romano Romanini in Brescia, Premio Ancona as well as various music associations, including Musica Attuale in Bologna, Il Coretto in Bari, Nuova Consonanza in Roma.

Warmly applauded by both audiences and critics for the thoroughness of  their  work, Dèdalo Ensemble has made recordings with Stradivarius, Edipan, Bongiovanni and Rugginenti and their  performances have been broadcasted  by RAI Radio3, and various European radio stations.

Vittorio Parisi is the permanent conductor of Dèdalo Ensemble.
